Allstars...

I just had to brag on my little ball player!! He got voted by his team and his coaches for Allstars!!! Only 3 players on his team were selected. I am so proud of him. He has improved so much this season. It has just all of the sudden clicked for him. In the fall I was still yelling for him to pay attention, run faster, stop picking daisies, telling him to get his glove off his head and quit picking his nose! Okay..okay I still tell him to quit picking his nose! He is really enjoying it!! He loves playing pitcher and first base. I get so excited when he gets the ball and throws it to 1st to get'em out. I never imagined I be one of those crazy baseball moms....but here I am. Not to mention I've come along way. I actually know what hand his glove goes on and what postion he plays on the field! After all he's accomplised this season we have decided to not let him play Allstars. It's just to much for a 5 year old. Tournaments every weekend playing 5 to 6 games a day in 100 degree weather. I think we will wait a few more seasons....mommy just not ready for all that!

A Day at the BallPark

We enjoyed a Sunday afternoon at The Ballpark in Arlington...it was actually a little chilly. It's not normal for it to be 64 in MAy. We left the house around 3pm for a 7:05pm game because Matt's a little crazy....first we had to go to Academy and get the whole family Rangers shirts.

So we can support our team. He wanted to get there early enough to watch batting practice...which we did.

We were there before the gates were even open! It was a blast! We meet several of the fireman on B shift and their familes there. Our seats where awesome....lower level 1st base side. About half way through the game we went and sat on the Homerun porch with everyone else .

My favorite part of course is the food!!!! We had popcorn, peanuts, cracker jacks, jumbo dog,

2 super nachos, water and soda! oh so yummy!!!!

Tristen had lots of fun watching the game and playing with Coby and Kyler. We will have to do that again really soon!

And the Game ball goes to .......Tristen!!!

Little man had 2 T-ball games on Saturday...seriously the windy was crazy! I was covered in a fine mist of ball field dirt...yuck. I still have dirt in my handbag...I continue to find it in more places each day. Oh the joys of T-ball. After every game the coach gives out the game ball. If you have no clue as to what that is...as I am just now learning! It goes to the player who played exceptionally well or made a great play. So Tristen has been asking me before each game if he is gonna get the game ball. I tell him the same thing every game.....stay focused, hit the ball hard and get'm out...and you'll get it! Well he finally got it!

It was the cutest thing....he was so excited. He gave his coach the biggest hug and kiss and said Thank You! Then he ran over to me and said "mom I knew that was coming." He had the biggest grin on his face or as I call it The Moseley smirk...just like his daddy! I just wanted to kiss his face off....he is so darn cute! I just love when he gets all excited and is so proud of himself. My little boy is actually turning into a really good little ball player..what should I expect it runs in his genes...well at least his daddy's side! I just had to share these cute pics I took of him!

He fell asleep with it....so precious!

Birthday Girl

Well my birthday was actually a week ago today but I thought I would start out with this as my first offical post!Lets just say I can't believe I turned 26 this year...where has the time gone. I"m still in denial that I'm part of the 26 to 35 age group now. Holy Cow!

On a positive note I had a amazing day! Since it was stormy and raining Matt didn't have to go to work. So I got to spend the day at home with my boys. For the most part we just layed on the sofa and relaxed. Aunt Melissa brought me some beautiful flowers from Central Market...I love that place! The boys surprised me with Bithday cake ice cream from Marble Slab which is my favorite. Yes I sure did eat the whole pint in one sitting. That evening we went to Uncle Julios for dinner with Aaron and Erin some of my favorite people. While Tristen had a sleepover with Nana and Papa. Thank you to all my friends and family for the sweet birthday wishes! Here is to another great year!
