Happy Birthday to Me!

27!

Wow...that just doesn't seem possible! How is it that I keep getting closer to 30..uggg don't like the sound of that!

This past weekend we spent celebrating my birthday. My sweet husband was suppose to be on shift on Saturday. Late Friday night he surprised me....he had taken the day off and made arrangements for T.
How did I get this man?! He is sooooo good to me! I started the day off with bootcamp and coffee @ Starbucks with my mom. I came home to breakfast and flowers from my 2 favorite guys. Matt and I spent the day shopping...a little at the mall and a lot at Brownstone Village. Brownstone is one of my hidden little secrets but I'll share it with you! Just because it is so Fabulous!! I snagged me some new perfume, a cute necklace and a pair of Miss Me shorts I just couldn't live without.

If you know me at all you know I love food. The Melting Pot has been on my taste buds for a while now. SO I finally got to try it out. And......it was amazing!!! My favorite part....dessert of course! I actually only ordered appetizer and dessert...why waste time on meat. I'd rather have the good stuff. Not to mention I was sipping on a few glasses of my favorite wine...

We ended the night with a quick trip to Win Star with friends. The Hills (Crystal & Chris) anniversary is on my birthday. Matt and I had never gambled in our lives. It was definitely a experience....me in a casino is like Paris Hilton at Traders Village. The two just don't go together. I knew I wouldn't be a good gambler. I'm just too cautious. After putting in $15 in the slot machines I was finished and very annoyed. Lets just say losing isn't any fun. After a while I put in another $5 and won my money back....I was done! I had seen all kinds of crazies...a grandma with a walker and oxygen tank and someone with a small child. These people belonged at home. Not to mention I smelled like a walking cigarette! Ugggg...nasty!

We continued the celebrating on Sunday with my family. After church we all went over to Gram's for a little home cooking....the best home cooking. Ate Birthday Cake ice cream from Marble Slab with fresh strawberries.Yum! Then went to the movies. It was a great weekend!

*Thanks Nana & Papa for watching T...I really enjoyed my day!
